For information, according to JRR Tolkien – Tolfalas is an island in the bay of Belfalas, on the bottom right hand corner of the map that graces the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy of books.
According to Tolkien it’s warm, semi tropical, marks the south westernmost border of the kingdoms of Gondor and was home to pirates and corsairs.
It was also the name of the house that a girlfriend lived in when I was a teenager… but that’s another story for another day.
